Climate change and conflict areas in the world, what interactions and what risks?
Info
Climate change has manifested itself with particular virulence in 2022. Rising temperatures have led to an increase in extreme weather events and environmental disasters. Although the intensity of these phenomena is subject to strong geographical variability, all states in the world have experienced the risks that climate change poses to their economic stability, their political sovereignty and the security of their populations.
This webinar will provide a more detailed understanding of the links between climate change and conflict. Researchers will review the impacts of climate change on existing threats, addressing different geographical areas one after the other. This conference will provide a global and hierarchical view of the regions and countries of the world most likely to experience an exacerbation of conflict.
This conference will be held in French.
